The Russo-Ukrainian War is an ongoing international conflict between Russia, alongside Russian-backed separatists, and Ukraine, which began in February 2014 Following Ukraine's Revolution of Dignity, Russia annexed Crimea from Ukraine and supported pro-Russian separatists fighting the Ukrainian military in the Donbas War. The first eight years of conflict also included naval incidents, cyberwarfare, and heightened political tensions. In February 2022, the conflict saw a major escalation as Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Hey what's up this is your boy super with yet another vlog this time i will show you what actually has happened on the journey from silesia poland to the ukrainian border from the moment the plane touched down in katowice airport you could feel the polaris in some sort of emergency state there were more planes than usually on the airport and a lot of them were cargo planes there were buses from ukraine and the refugee centers were opened on bus stations you could hear ukrainian language everywhere even the way buzz we took home had a ukrainian refugee on board poland had 2 million refugees a week ago let's see what's happening at the border get yourself something to drink and enjoy the episode [Music]
we are going to medica which is one of the biggest border crossing between poland and ukraine folks we are approaching the border we've passed so many funds from western europe there were countries like germany switzerland austria netherlands spain from all over western europe i can see that people really want to help the ukrainians we also pass lots of buses full of refugees and they're going back and forward they drop people and come back drop and come back folks remember to subscribe the channel i'm not getting any money of this videos so i need subscribers so i can make some money and provide more films like that for you yes danica sheen for subscribing and here we stopped at the petrol station to see even more humanitarian converse towards the border and we saw that

is i'm sure those tractors were heading to ukraine too we were near the ukrainian border when we saw this humanitarian center we decided to drop in and have a look what's happening folks we are this is one of hundreds refugee center in poland right now there are vans with humanitarian aid coming all the time from all over europe
[Music] where were you coming from folks from italy from where about in the north toronto right are you bringing the humanitarian aid where are you coming from from england what about uh london london yeah and we've come from shropshire in west midlands right and and what you're bringing we're bringing animal supplies both veterinary and for management collars leads coats blankets food anything that we nice nice all right yeah he's like animals related are you like what organization is it a nature watch uh nature watch working with uh dots from london which is a homeless charity dealing with people with dogs and animals on the streets um and then we're both volunteers and you're from about practice aren't you what's your thoughts about the conflict and what's happening well obviously we you know we're focused purely on the animal side of things that we've got people come across the border that don't want to leave their animals they've got animals with health problems or they're in need of supplies that's what we're dealing with i think what's surprising and shocking is that it's a beautiful part of europe but only not so far away as a humanitarian crisis in a war zone and it seems very surreal but we're just doing what we can to help with people and animals good job folks good job because it's a long way you only drop four hours yeah 26 hours six hours driving from solid yeah through the night we drove left set off on uh thursday morning about seven o'clock arrived here yesterday midday so uh yeah so long i think you're doing a great job with this animals stuff because that's what they need isn't it and you know i have that you know the refugees if they want to go to italy and places like that they are not allowed to bring dogs or anything so they all come you know with pets they all come to poland so this is the best place to actually live eight for for for pets regis center near medical vlogger zupa that's pretty much everything for this episode watch the next one and i'm actually on the border talking to the very refugees and you will hear incredible stories till next time vloggersupper that's a ukrainian train there it's a wide gouge train and they can't go any farther because in poland we use narrow gouge trains so the people are unloaded here and put in different trains you can see traveled like by bus like this one

couple days ago russians made a big airstrike just an hour away from here on the western part of ukraine killing three british soldiers among others [Music] the war is taking place just behind that line that this is the polish ukrainian border and there's no goes on after that barriers so this is as far as we can get at the moment as you can see there is a bit of a chaos here people from all over the world trying to help our brothers in ukraine i was just told by one of the soldiers that i cannot go any further than this even here i shouldn't really be [Music]

about 10 000 ukrainian refugees crossed this border every day most of them travel by car but some of them travel like by bus like this one

you can see their faces they're very tired but also relief they're in a safe place now i have to say something for people arriving here with humanitarian aid don't come to the border itself go to a point where the aid is being collected because you will cause even more havoc arriving at the border and i see a lot of foreign people arriving at the border and then being directed to the centers from today there is actually more ukrainians coming to you crying trying to collect their belongings and relatives rather than people leaving you crying that's the newest statistics

which is the biggest road crossing between poland and ukraine this time i'm taking you to shen michel town which is the biggest railway crossing between poland and ukraine chemistry is a very picturesque wee town on the polish ukrainian border it has a rich history in the past the tatars were the biggest enemy in shen michel then the austro-hungarians built a fortress in bashar missile in other words shemeshl has seen wars it is one of these towns that is located where it is before the second world war two-thirds of the population were jewish now the greco-catholics and roman catholics get along just fine there is a lot of ukrainian living here my grandpa actually comes from nearby and his mother was ukrainian it is a town of temples before the war you could see another two synagogues but they were destroyed by nazis along with population of twenty thousand jews that lived in bishemish before the war but now shemesh is facing another tragedy half of a million of ukrainian refugees passed or stayed in chemistry since the beginning of the war that is like 350 000 people for fortnight while i was there i saw some european union officials having a closer look at the problem but the city is handing the crisis very well citizens of chemistry were no further anti-ukrainians and anti-refugee attitudes in the beginning of the crisis but they had a change of heart and now they handle the flow of refugees very smoothly but how sustainable is it is it going to last long term chemistry is a very important place you must understand the gauge system in europe east europe has wide gauge system while the west europe has narrow gauge rail systems so basically ukrainians have bigger trains this is the place where people who arrive by train are met by polish authorities are sent somewhere else as you can see this is a ukrainian train they can't they can't go then refugees must change a train to another that will take them to another place in poland or europe you see that lady she has seen the whole crisis from her shop window she's selling kepups

we are coming back now it's been a very very busy day uh i've never seen a mass exodus of people like that i never thought i will see one so it is a shocking site i tell you the town chemist where we went has seen mass exodus of people during the second world war and now the history is repeating itself with slightly different people but it's the war again that is causing havoc folks i was really surprised to see the number of cars and fans on italian registrations italians you're doing great job helping ukrainians you see that flag behind me you may think this is a ukrainian flag but it ain't it's actually a silent flag i'm silesian and what happens is that flag of schloss silesia
