Vlog in text: All right folks so we are here with Terry who's been homeless on the Streets of London for how long uh three years three years how did you become homeless uh losing a raised my family and all those of the old bus couldn't hear you what did you say family died I rent everything rent exactly good enough for rent yes yeah three years what was your occupation and what did you do before Civil Service civil service service all right I'll show you so they don't pay very well there are retired or whatever you call it not returned but 11 years in there 11 years from the Civil Service they do give me a little bit and ended up homeless yeah how can you explain this like it's [Music] it's [Music] you it just happens it just happens it happens to everybody but you have to have the people Help me regular people and trying to get me somewhere accommodation some people trying very hard all right other because I just doubt dealt with them you know but I'm a street breakfast I'm rough I'm ready for it you know yeah he's actually at the bedroom at the moment because he's had a form of a breakdown but yeah I've ended up in in London alcoholism my parents were drinkers themselves West Africa the system's broken I pay tax all my life in the UK yeah all in the UK I ran an events company big company [Music] all right Terry what do you usually sleep it's the most different places Waterloo usually like like outside you don't have like a place to stay sometimes if there's uh people yeah one or two people thanks God is getting warmer it is how did you cope with the winter it's terrible I mean they did take me in somewhere okay what about hostels and places like that is very very hostels can be good but some can be very bad and you end up losing everything I say so you rather not stay in hostess and what's in today's big issue by the way this is a famous um this is a famous person who's on TV at the moment on Sundays and it's um doing very well I'm doing very well and she's in the big issue now she um people I didn't the big issue of help by giving me enough um an office they give you an office to sell the big issue just one day a week Wednesday all right so you you have an August to do the big issue one day to sell it because like a big issue has got offices and it was a week they um I'm doing an embarrasser's office or in moorgate they arrange it okay is there anything else do you sell except big issue um no that's but that's it mostly that's it is this something like the big issue North is there something else no it's the same it's the same right okay right but it might be a different cup overall all right how many copies you can sell a day are you so I've only got five left I've sold nearly 30 this week this week in 30. well done because I don't see really people are interested in the big issue anymore like like they used to they used to when lockdowns when lockdown was on this nearly folded the biggest tree nearly folded um locked down ruined it logged down the line of the big issue so the cells went down yeah that's the other seller I've met the other day he said that the sale is is not selling as it used to be right Terry if you have like somebody's watching your loved ones is anything you want to say to them the um I hope you and I will get out of all this soon move away from London um look for work this office is helping me actually all right and if there's somebody who wants to donate uh is there any or help you contact you in somehow uh is there a phone number that can reach your I think I'm in on the um
