Getting a Zimbabwean PASSPORT+ INTRODUCTION to the country

In this episode i will tell you about Shona language and history of Zimbabwe from Rhodesia time untill now. I will also try to get a Zimbabwean passport for my son .We will go to in Harare, Emiigration Department. Check my new series from Africa. i visited Ethiopia, Zambia, South Africa but i stayed the longest in Zimbabwe. Check how i explore Shona and Ndebele culture, food, music, night life, wild life and many other topics in Norton, Katanga, Lake Chivero and Harare. I also talked to white Zimbabweans and find many interesting stories. I was shocked when i came to South Africa and saw an epidemy of white Afrikaners homeless on the streets of Johannesburg and Pretoria. Check the new series.

Hi people, this is your boy Robert Zupa. We are going to department of immigration which is this huge building here. Get the Zenos papers with the Zimbaban passport. Hey folks, this is the central district of uh economical district of Kerala. Then see yeah this is the offices. This was built in during the southern Rodasia. It's a beautiful col colonial building. You look 1902

from Zimbabwe. Interesting fact. Uh there's a fast food tax. Look, it's 43 cents for fast food tax. Kusai, which means hello in Shaa language. Sha language is an interesting language. It is a unified version of the languages that are spoken in the territory of Zimbabwe. There's five languages which belong to the family of the Bantto languages. When in 18th century British colonizers moved to this area and formed a country called Rhdesia, they had a problem with establishing a language that everybody could understand. There are five different dialects spoken in Zimbabwe. dialects of the banto language which are corore, zuru, manika, karanga and nadawo and they all belong to the family of the banto languages which originated in where now Nigeria is. The word bantto itself means one people. So the language spoken in pretty much the whole subsaharan Africa belongs to the banto family. Of course, it differs so much that a person from Nigeria would not understand a person from Zimbabwe, but the core is the same. Even language called Swahili, which a lot of people say, "Oh, it's a bit Arabic and it's not really African." It's got a bantoore. For example, in Swahili, you say a mongu for a foreigner, while in Zimbabwe, you say murongu. Pretty similar, in it. But you must understand that in Africa, the language will change very quickly. I would say that every 100 miles of distance there will be another dialect. I think in Nigeria there is 150 different languages, official languages. Now in Zimbabwe it's 16 but it's a much smaller country. So Shaa is a written standard language with the autograph and grammar that was codified during the early 20th century and fixed in the 1950s. In the 1920s, the Rodesian administration was faced with a challenge of preparing school books and other materials in the various languages and dialects and requested the recommendation of South African linguist Clement. Clement was a British linguist who spent a lot of time in South Africa. He got to know local tribes and actually got to know a local lingo as well. He knew that African languages cannot be translated into into European languages because I have a different different structure. But anyways, you will probably ask me, "What the hell are you doing in Zimbabwe? It's 15,000 kilometers from Europe. It's quite far. What are you doing there?" Well, my son was born in Zimbabwe. I'm trying to get him a Polish passport, take him back with me to the UK. It is a very complicated task. There's no Polish embassy in Zimbabwe. So I have to get a birth certificate. Then certify the birth certificate. Then me, the mother of the child will have to go to South Africa to Ptoria where the nearest Polish embassy is located. Everywhere I go, I have to wait for hours. If you have not seen my previous vlog where I show how I was getting the birth certificate, you must do so. There is no national database that is accessible online. So to get a certificate that you want, you have to go to an office that it was issued in. And then there are stamps, there are taxes, there are fees, there are zero copies, copies of a copy, etc., etc. Be prepared to have a lot of time if you want to get that paper. The African time, it is a very different concept to a European time. You become frustrated very quickly. Don't get me wrong, the staff working in those offices are very nice, but there's nothing they can do about the system. It is a lesson I'm learning. You just have to stay there, sit quietly, and wait until you are summoned upon. When in Rome, do as the Romans do. In meantime, I have plenty time to explore the area. There are plenty bars in Zimbabwe. Despite the poverty, the bars are always busy. A bottle of beer usually cost you around $1 US. I'm not a big fan of lagger beer, but I find the African beer very tasty. It's called shake shake and it's made of corn and it's got that sediment in it and they say it's food and drink all together. I really enjoy it. It's not very fizzy. Do try it if you can. I have not seen this kind of beer in Europe. If you are wondering what you could export from Africa is definitely that beer. I will be your first punter.

Okay, folks. Black level in the bar. 75 cents in the bottle. So maybe 50 cents uh maybe 40 p a pint in the in the bar. Not bad. Hanging around the immigration office in Harare waiting for my papers. I see a lot of white people around. In the 70s, there was 300,000 white people living in Rodesia, what it was called. Now, it's only about 24. And it seems like all of them are around that office trying to get a passport and leave. Inside the building, I'm meeting a white Zimbabwean of a Greek origin. He came with his parents in the 70s. His parents got a big farm with a swimming pool and become a tobacco farmers. Now when everything is gone, he's trying to get his Greek passport and go back to Greece. But not all the white Zimbabwans want to leave. Some of them love the country so much that despite the harsh times they are going through, they won't leave. Some simply cannot get a visa to another country and must stay. One of them is Kirst Coventry, the most decorated African athlete in the world. She won six medals in four Olympics in swimming. Now she's the minister of sport. Well done, Kirst. In Rodesia, which was the name of Zimbabwe before 1980, the whites introduced the system of segregation. It was a very similar system to the apartate in South Africa, but it wasn't as formal. Sha people are farmers and laidbacked friendly lot while the Zulus of South Africa are warriors and had to be enslaved in a different way. But overall the both systems discriminated locals. European settlers had a lot of colonies in Africa but not all the colonies were meant to be settled in. The climate along the equator was simply too hot for the white person to live. Don't get me wrong, the Europeans colonizers put their hands on everything they could, but for many of them the tropical climate was lethal. Zimbabwe has a subtropical climate and most of the country is located on a plateau. The temperatures in the daytime are around 20 to 25 Celsius just perfect. On top of that, you have constant eastern wind bringing nice cool breeze. Northern Zimbabwe is renown for its citrus plantations. For the northern Europeans, it was like getting piece of South Italy for themsel. In the beginning, the Sha people accepted the newcomers, but they had no idea what's coming. Soon they became secondass citizens in their own country. That's where Chimorena, which in Sha means the war of liberation started and they gave whites hard time. Politics of British Empire has also changed at that time. A lot of African colonies were granted independence, but the Rodies didn't want to follow the suit. On November 11th, 1965, Prime Minister Ian Smith issued a declaration of independence from the UK to prevent rapid transition to black majority rule that led to the second Chimoranga, which the Roies called the Bush War. 30,000 people died during this conflict. To find out more about it from the white perspective, watch the vlog with Gary Stafford who was a soldier during this conflict and took active part in the war. Gary has now a bird sanctuary on the lake Chero. Do watch my vlogs from Zimbabwe if you are interested about this matter. I conducted a lot of interviews with people from Zimbabwe, white people from Zimbabwe, black people from Zimbabwe. But when I was on the lake Cho, I was lucky to meet a lot of white Zimbabweans and they told me a lot of stories from their perspectives. I must say the history of that part of the world is incredible. The whites lost the war in 1980 and the country of Zimbabwe was established. Rhodesia, which was a parliamentary system that enforced minority rule, couldn't face the international sanctions and a guerilla war from Zanla and Zebra forces. During the interviews on Lake Chiver, I found out about Polish immigrants who settled down in Rhodesia during the Second World War. After the Polish soldiers were set free from the Russian camps, Golaks in Siberia, they went down through Iran to Africa where they settled. They were allowed to stay and had families and their children went to Polish schools. There are still Polish war cemeteries in Zimbabwe. Now, personally, I've met a few ancestors of the Polish settlers. They couldn't really speak any Polish, but they were still trying to claim the Polish citizenship. I've met them in Ptoria in Polish embassy. They were trying to get the Polish passports. At the moment, Polish passport is a thing to have. And in the town of Cheutu, Mr. Kojinski founded one of the biggest chicken farm in the country. After the war, Robert Mugab become the president of Zimbabwe. was ruling the country for over 30 years. He kept borrowing and printing money. The country went through so-called hyperinflation. At one point, there was a note of $100 trillion. Zimbabwe went through a humanitarian crisis. Folks weren't happy and he was overthrown in a coup. His former colleague Emerson Nanuaga took the presidential seat and is ruling the country. Till this very day, the country is still facing many issues. During the colonial times, 440 farmers had 51% of all the Zimbabwean soil. Robert Mugab has taken that land back and given to his fellows. Because of that deed, there was a lot of sanctions put on Zimbabwe. The new president Nuagua invited the white farmers back to the country, even promised them some money, but they never came. The compensation he promised to them were in national funds that really didn't have much value. To prevent any further hyperinflations, Languaga has changed the currency into US dollar that kept the economy fairly steady. The country has become one of the biggest producer of tobacco in Africa. The US dollar is the main currency. The smaller currency under $1 is a zig. You can see the zik as well. The nodes are very old uh and torn and used. You can see that new nodes are not coming to the country and the old nodes that were introduced are still in use. When it comes to transport, the best way is to use so-called combi, which is a mini van, usually exported from Japan. They are meant to take around 10 people on board, but the conductor will put in as many as possible.

Oh. Folks, thank you very much for watching this vlog. I hope you liked it, commented and did subscribe to my channel. There will be more coming. Zimbabwean history is so interesting. This was just an introduction to it. But let's find out if I managed to get that passport or not today. So, I haven't been able to get the papers. I need to go back tomorrow. Everything shuts at about lunchtime here. So, in a couple of hours, you have in the morning to get your things sorted, unfortunately.

Hello. Hello. This is your boy Vlogger Zupa. Welcome to the new series from Africa, Zimbabwe. I have 3 weeks to travel around this country. The size of Zimbabwe is about the size of the UK, but it's only inhabited by 14 million people. 80% of that population is Shauna tribe. And we will look closely at them. We will look at their oral traditions, music, food, and of course, night life. Snuff tobacco is a big part of Sha culture. I had the experience to use it myself. Find out if I've connected with my ancestors. Ancestors totems and spirituality is a big thing in Shona culture. So is the music. A traditional instrument called serves as the telephone to the spirits. Their has been estimated to exist in Shaa society for the past thousand years. It is a mystical instrument full of tradition and history. The revatory dates itself back many centuries and it's only passed down orally. I was very fortunate to meet the right people who explained to me complicated history of this region. Zimbabwe and street food is amazing. Watch the episode where I eat chicken and cow feet. At Lake Chiver, I've met Gary who showed me his birds and told me interesting history of his Dutch side of the family. I've also met Ian Darl and Alex whose stories were as incredible. Make sure you watch the interviews I've had with them. Also, definitely watch the episode about the Johan Masawa church, which is a phenomena of Zimbabwean church. It is a church without a church. Yes, they pray in nature. 30% of Zimbabwan territories covered with national parks or protected areas. Animals are protected by the common belief of totems. But it is the people of Zimbabwe that made the biggest impression on me. They were very kind and helpful. and I never felt unsafe. Subscribe to the channel and watch the series from Africa.

yeah this is actually I've got in English channel helen can speak some Polish she just said that hello i um I I am from uh county I live in county Dunnigal in Ireland and I come to stay in Cheshan because uh my friends they are Polish they live nearby and every year I I come to visit them so the last 2 years I stay in a place called Ron and this is my first time in Cheshan and so far I have made uh another friend already i meet my good friend Philillip who is Polish yeah was very generous and uh Philip very very good man and uh I think this area is spectacular uh I am visiting Cheshin with uh my adult son who has a disability he has uh autism and intellectual disability so usually uh we try to find a place that um is um disabled friendly and uh so far Chesh is the best place everybody is so accepting and nobody not many people uh they pass judgment uh because usually we are used a lot of people they stare and uh so far not not many people do this so it is really good uh I love the pedestrianized uh areas so um my my son can walk around freely and the I always love the Polish architecture i think that uh the Polish buildings they're just so beautiful and uh I just I just love Poland so uh maybe maybe if I um win the lottery I can maybe buy house in Poland so yeah are you ready for the cold winters yeah no ireland mr mand come cold all right Helen well tell us about more about yourself what what you doing in in in Ireland uh I am work uh I am full-time carer right i take care of uh my son who has uh special needs and I help care for my mother who has Parkinson's disease all right so you are a full-time carer right full-time carer yeah all right uh so what do you think about the Polish people living in Ireland there's there's quite a few of them right yes yes they uh Yeah i I think I find uh Polish people they're very very friendly very hard workers uh sometimes I think Polish people work harder than Irish people they uh But don't tell the Irish people but um yeah I I have never met a Polish person I didn't like uh I love Inca and Inca the country right right and uh so I always go to Polish shop and I buy Inca so you you managed to like have some Polish friends here in Ireland yeah because there's so many and they you've got friends here in in Poland now and you came and you stay with your friends yes all right that's cool all right ellen uh tell us about your hobbies you know what kind of music do you like enya you too uh the may I'm too young to like Enya right well I know but I love myself i used to listen to Anya all the time yeah I I like lots of different um music i uh usually the music I like is uh because uh of the story you know the the lyrics the lyrics right right not not the the melody itself yeah but uh both both but uh usually um I I find a lot of my life you know that uh from I was a teenager that uh it was certain uh songs it feels like the musician they they write the song for me you know it's because uh certain music I can really identify with this particular song and uh you know so maybe some music uh I listen when I'm sad because it cheers like um everybody hurts i really love this song because if I'm feeling really down it it really cheers me up because it lets me know I am not the only person do you know that um everybody feels pain and uh it's um it's it's like it it uh it gives me the don't know this is only what I've witnessed all right so I I maybe there's lots i I don't know it's like uh in Ireland if if you go to certain places you don't see any homeless people but then if you go to a different place you see lots and lots yeah I've got I've got a series with homeless people in Dublin myself i went to visit my friend and didn't done a a series about homeless people there a lot of drug addiction in in here is mostly alcohol not only yeah but in Ireland in Ireland not everyone that is homeless is because of alcohol and drugs a lot of the time like in Ireland there's a huge cost to live in crisis and uh they uh I think it's everywhere but in Ireland the the rents because there is not enough houses and apartments for the people that live there so it means that maybe if one house is for rent there could be 100 families go to visit this house so the landlord he can ask for any amount of money so the rent is very very high and it means people have nowhere to live so some people are working they have job but they still can't afford to pay for apartment or rent you know i see i see all right Helen is there anything else you would like to add to the I love Poland i think Poland is one of the best countries in the world and uh I think uh I I think uh Polish uh people are are very very nice and um very friendly oh thank you very much have you been to Czech From ENGLAND to POLAND via CZECH Republic?

This time i am taking you to Poland via Czech Republic. Why? Check this out.

Vlog in text: Hi folks this is your boy vlogger zupa welcome to yet another Vlog and today I'm taking you to Poland I'm packed I'm flying not to Poland I'm flying to Czech Republic and then I will get to Poland I will show you everything and explain you why stay with me get yourself something to drink and enjoy the Vlog the first part of the trip is to take train from croon to Central London to Victoria we are using the southern Railways in London each day ction West East Southwest is operated by different train is Heath please keep your bags and personal belongings with hello hello and one more time hello this is your boy vlogger Z and I will be narrating the text from here when I'm editing the Vlog in Poland already that train stops in a lot of stations on the way so it takes about 40 minutes we are now approaching Battery Park please mind the gap between the train and the platform with customers please note that you can only Al light when I arrived in Victoria train station I rushed to the cach station which is about 7 Minutes uh away from the train station when I got there I realized I've missed my bus and the next one is in an hour so I had to rush to the underground to go to I think Tottenham Hall in North London to catch an Express train to St that all right I've missed my bus my coach so got to run for the underground now my gosh that was quite costly as the coach cost about10 while the train from Tottenham Hall cost you 23 and you have to buy the ticket in advance canot just top on and top off [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] long step when getting on or off the raised seated areas while in train I realize there somebody wearing the same model of shoe as I do so I take a shot the rail journey in London is much quicker the underground goes very fast compared to the buses that has to they have to stop it every traffic light there's a lot of traffic out there and then you've got the express stad Express which is about 50 minutes from North London to stanstead which is quite good so I'm arriving there before time I have some time to wander around the airport I'm calling by to weather spons for the P of Guinness is about six lb uh this is a tradition yeah weather spoons remember to use weather spoons while in the UK this is the cheapest option for you to get a drink in the UK as I said in the beginning of the Vlog I'm flying to Czech Republic even though I'm going to Poland but the city of ostrava is located only 25 km from the southern border of Poland so I took a chance and I'm flying well it's much cheaper to fly to ustraa then to katov in Poland on the other side so this is what I'm doing I know the the local lingo I also know how to get to the town I'm going I'm going to a Polish town on the border not too far so this is what I'm doing I'm taking a flight to ostrava and then by public transport going to a town called Rush which is a very nice town so it's worth for you to stay on and see my adventures in this town my friend is waiting there for me so we should have good time hopefully we're flying above the UK I noticed there's a lot of like fish pond on on around stad so I've never knew that part of the British farming culture that uh the English people used and build a lot of fish ponds you can see that from above something you can't see from from down there [Music] [Music] [Music] when I'm arriving in Czech Republic we are passing a castle not sure what is the name of the castle if anybody knows let me know I'm landing in ostrava and I'm uh rushing through fairly small El airport not efficient they've got three flights from London stad to ustraa every week getting to a bus that takes me to a central ostrava where I'm taking a a tra to uh the main train station where I'm going to take a train towards Poland safe on cast I'm taking a local train to a town called bomin which is just on the border and from there I'm taking a international train to Poland but you know in the end of the day it wasn't worth it I think the prices in EU the international trains are just the same so it wasn't really worth it while in ostrava I'm having a sausage in a ban this is a classic also Vlog Vlog was a Bo there was a folks so I managed to get the train to bouin which is near the border and then I will get the train to control of the folks so I so folks so I put a train to bin and then I'm taking an international train from Czech Republic to VW in Poland and I will get off at rush and I will show you the city of Rush a place where I basically grew up a friend is waiting there for me so stay with me and enjoy the Vlog he in Czech Republic you have different companies that runs the rails H this is not the ches drai which is the main Czech company for trains this is called Regio Jet and it's growing this place this compan is growing they have trains going to Poland as well now unfortunately not this one in bomin I'm hanging around and uh this is a really nice train station it was built by the austri Hungarian Empire guys and it was a quite important train station I think the call was was going to different parts of the Empire from bin there's a lot of coal which we call a black gold while in bin I decide to try the cheze speciality which is a fried cheese cber blue cheese and Fries this is a classic while in chech do recommend trying it it's something like a French Interview with Kapusa Oriental Choir from Nigeria

Folks we are here with Kapusa Oriental Choir from Nigeria from Lagos the center of excellence and I'm going to ask them why afro beats are taking over the world what do you think afro beats yeah afro be is taking the world afro yeah like BNA boy you know all over the world what is it what's the the magic in this music okay I will for for start I would said it's um the instrumentals the the artist the dedication The Twist the spirit of Africans you know and mostly it's from Nigeria and Nigeria well spirited you know we put our best and everything into our craft and we give it our best in the

[Music] short oh yes [Music] now listen cuz I stand I stand strong you yeah I stand yeah I stand strong afrit has been hidden for so long so it's time to come out to the world cuz you know from slavery down to you know the world is changing and it's revolving so we need to be out and we are so happy that afrob is going worldwi yeah yes well you're not really representing afro beats right you you are chir you right so how is it you know not being like actually afrit artist and uh are you receiving a lot of interest from outside Nigeria yes of course the interest we are receiving are mainly from outside of Nigeria to be honest and that's really weird because people from outside countries seem to connect with our music in the most unusual way like for example they said um our version of Soo took over Poland they saw people reposting the songs everywhere and that actually amazes us when we look at our Spotify insights the good number of fans that we have are either from Ukraine Germany um Russia um Poland and all other countries and then we also have a huge fan base in Nigeria as well which is our home so that's it right there are you trying to say that Eastern Europeans are um you know like the your your music more than the like Western Europeans no Nigerians love us like today you just said that you know like the eastern part of Europe likes you got fans they they they connect to the music in a way that we cannot explain in a way that we did not expect them to connect to we did not expect this kind of love for this kind of music because we didn't know if they would relate to our music but then to our greatest surprise the love Is Just massive and it drew our attention and here we are in Poland today for Africa be Festival not just here to perform but to headline the Africa Beast festival and that's just mindblowing yeah extraordinary yes all right all right folks [Music] [Music] theal I've been Ling [Music] [Music] [Music] sing that's right are you folks tell me you know how are you received in Nigeria are you touring Nigeria are you what where else did you go and and uh perform okay yes we are received in Nigeria like very well we performed there was a huge show we had in December last year in a place called um Bonnie Island in poot it was a huge show which we headlined as well and you know it's Nigeria so they understand this music well the energy is massive it's just like what we had this night it was just crazy it's always crazy p c right because you're from Lagos so that was like a different part of of Nigeria and you were received very well over there as well exactly are you guys from Legos you like Yuba guys we actually from Abuja Abuja is the federal capital city of Nigeria but we as well have a base in Lagos so the choir is large you know the is large we have a in Lagos a in Abuja a in poot in all parts of Nigeria yes but mainly in Abuja so we are from different tribes in Nigeria I'm IBO I'm from the eastern part of Nigeria she's from the eastern part of Nigeria he's from the eastern part he's from the northern part of Nigeria yeah and she is she's from the southern part of Nigeria so we are all from different tribes and then we blend together to give you what you see yeah how long guys I've heard your performance it was amazing I heard you singing like covers of was the the the big song that came out from South Africa shabam yes when we did shabam you know and we put it out there um some people started to say that they loved it more than the original version and that actually we were humbled to hear that but big UPS to the original song because that song is really big in Africa he big in South Africa he big in Nigeria and we were inspired when we heard that song so we had to hit the studio and then get that song ready and then it blew everywhere people it blew our imagination beyond our imagination and it's a big song right now yes how do you get new members for your choir is it like a test you have to pass or yes we have auditions which we run yes from time to time time is always ongoing and then there are people who also send us messages and tell us that they would love to be a part of our choir and then when they send those messages we audition them and if they make the cut they join the choir so we always have people we are always recruiting people into the choir the choir is very large and huge in how many members we are close to 60 something members currently and you the best ones chosen for theal yes all good yes we are all good it also it just depends on the particular performance and then what we need to bring to life because everyone is unique in their own way everyone has something that they bring to the table if you watch the performance today you will see that as much as we are all alike we are also different in our own art so we just pick the particular art that fits that event yes and then we move with that are you you guys not tempted go more into afro bits you know more like popular music are you not tempted to go into that direction we are we already in afrob beats already afrob beit is in our blood so it's something we can do in our sleep so but however we've been doing afrobats and people are connecting with afro beats but then we also have some songs that are another generous like trap drill we also have a ballad and next year we are working on an album which is going to come out next year and it's going to feature different genres of songs you're going to have Rock you're going to see a choir rock song you're going to see a hip-hop song and then you're also going to see afro beat in another dimension so we are delving into all genes of music yeah all right can I just ask each of you what's your favorite Nigerian artist at the moment um I would say deido deido yes deido David to yes I would say Asha I love Asha so much I love her music so much she's such an inspiration okay I'll say I'm a fan of Johnny drill Johnny drill yeah he's not very famous yeah he's not but I love it I love the way he manages his craft and then he's all about his music it's so intentional so I really connect with him I'll say deido as well and then suris we all love omale [Music] is the top we love him so [Music] muchy heyy heyyyy [Music] oh okay yeah right today in the Polish news there was a lot of stories about polish students being arrested in Nigeria for taking part in a in a protest against the government apparently they were only taking photos are you all right to talk about it yes of course it's something that concerns all of us as Nigerians you know the protest that is going on in Nigeria is the people crying out for what they want so people have what they want and what they want to see in a country and they have a right to cry out and to get that and then the government also owes it to the people to listen to their cries and Implement what they are asking for they're not asking for too much they're just asking for better government a better governance and yes and the economy and I believe it's something that every nation would love as good as a nation is it can always get better so Nigeria can be better and that's what they are asking for it's not something bad it's something that it's the voice of the people so surprised you know you're are not worried to talk about this because I heard that the situation is getting quite quite serious yes it's getting quite serious but then um it has not really gotten out of hand as we expected it to so I believe something is being done currently for the situation so that's why it has not gotten out of hand the government is listening I believe and they're going to do something about it yes but the voice of the people is strong yeah all right you guys as musicians could I ask you about like other African artists that you like and uh what country they come from okay um I like um David yeah do you like like what about like amap piano and all this okay yes I actually love amap piano amap piano is from South Africa right so yeah I love amap piano so much but what's what's better afro beats or amap piano we don't want to start a war we start a war in Nigeria so there's no really a favorite you know they are all amazing afro beat and my piano are all amazing generous right cuz I hear a lot of Nigerians artist are jumping into Arma piano what do you think about it I don't think they are jumping into Amma piano they're just mixing it bring out something nice so they're not jumping they're just merging the both we are one and we get to you know diversify and you know get to feel the same you know gener of music as well yeah this Africa is more like a connectivity we we tend to like extend this um will I say form of partnership and collaborations is what artists do in order to keep themselves to the chain because afrob beat is Big am piano is also having its space so this is we are all Africans and then we coming together to just make that sound start up but be honest What would you pick on your party I'm a piano or afrit sorry AF piano afro piano here we go about afro piano just been born here situations for afro there are moments you get to feel afro beit there are moments you also get to feel I'm they all work different way you work with the vibe the mood you are in and all of that so all different and you can mix them together and to get a better sound all we all Africans so the difference is what makes it unique the fact that we are from different parts of Africa Nigeria South Africa coming together and makes it even better and you know it's what the people want everybody loves it so yeah we have to make it better for them of course yeah all right but let's come back to that question about the non Nigerian artist from some other African country cuz you said uh I can't remember what you said but like could you tell me other artists that you like I love mafikizolo so much because their sound I remember hearing their song Corner um when it came out and that song was such a huge inspiration the sound was just it touched me in a very special way so mafikizolo has just been up there there I always look forward to their songs their newest release and I hope to walk with them we hope to walk with them one day it's going to be Madness mafikizolo and Kaba Oriental choir Mafi kizo if you hear this you you know what get who to get hold of I Al I also love C impella cuz she's very young and you know she has the energy she Dan she's from she's from South Africa Cella yes so she dances and she also sings just like we do we dance and we also sing so it's like really nice yeah she Inspire she inspired me so much do you do you get to hear a lot of South African music in Nigeria yes of course they on Spotify and yes in clubs yeah Club B yeah clubs and yeah even on the streets [Music] anywh what about yourself okay so I think I would go with Tyler is I'll be what's South Africa again yeah South Africa like she she's she's big currently she's amazing and I love her voice she knows how to manage like the melody and then give it with the vibe so there's just this unique sound that was just born even though it's still the Arma piano it's just something different and yeah I I love her and there's also salty Soul yes they are actually amazing you know they are just they give a little bit of we can see a little bit of kabusa in their sound kabusa kabusa is a place in Abuja is where we recorded our first song where the studio is located so we adopted the name kabusa Oriental choir that's how we got the name yes beautiful performance today I think did you mention your non non- Nigerian African artist no I have a specific one but I'll say Tyler like the she just a particular song She Sang and it was really amazing like it caught the attention of every African country so I'll just pick up yes all right guys I wouldn't finish this interview if I wouldn't ask you about Berna boy you [Music] know the African giant himself he's known as and he was on remix yeah he's he's like feeling stadiums in Europe he very very big yes he really big bon boy is Big not just in Africa all over the world and it's someone that we hope to work with one of these days so burner hit us up hit Kaba up so that we'll finish work we love you so much so yes okay guys well thank you so much for the interview thanks for bringing the good energy yeah I've recorded your performance I will add to that interview in the background we've got Moroccan band actually at the moment are you going to perform in Europe anytime soon yes definitely we look forward to performing in more places in Europe after now before the end of the year and then also next year so watch out you're going to see us we might just pop up in austral pop up in France pop up in the UK and from there to the rest of the world so it's from kabusa to the rest of the world that's it all right how can we find you on social medias what's your handles okay our handle on social media is kabusa Oriental choir on all social media platforms on Instagram Facebook Tik Tok Twitter Youtube and even Thriller we're everywhere so just type kabusa Oriental choir the verified piece and then you will see us on social media yeah all right guys thank you so much for the interview I wish you Pleasant stay in Poland thanks for coming and I
