Zupa in Poland - interview with Igor and sauna visit in the Carpathian mountains

This time i am going to Osada Bura Polana where i will have film workshops in November. I also tell you how i use a sauna there. I hope to see in Osada!

.

. . . .Vlog in text:
all right folks so we are on the way to the cabins in the in basket mountains and we are here with Igor who's spent most of his life in the UK and recently moved back well moved to Poland Igor what's your first impressions of Poland well there's a lot more and thunderstorms tonight would you like to spend a weekend in Carpathian Mountain and expand your knowledge about filmmaking you are in a right place vlogger super is organizing film workshops I'll teach you how to use a drone the Gimbal and how to edit films in the post-production place of the workshop is located in South Poland in Carpathian Mountain all you have to do is to book a plane to either cut off it's a crack of airport from where you will be picked up straight to the southern you will be accommodated and fed I promise you go home with a beautiful video the dates of Workshop prices etc etc everything in the description see you there super [Music] man what's the differences in school well in England we had to wear uniforms and here we don't we get less time in school in England we had workshops after school every Monday here we don't but we in Poland we have after school club way longer because after school club in England it was around two hours but here we can have it up to five hours I think so you have more after school activities it is Poland than in the UK yeah and there's a lot more bikers here and did you have any problems in like mathematics or what was your well actually in England because when we was in Scotland we we weren't like up high yeah and then in England I just had a heated huge like differences like hard work but here I have a huge advantage huge Advantage yeah even more work in England yeah Scotland and harder work the whole world exactly well two digits times two digits yeah it was like and there's harder equations but here we get like easy ones [Music] all the differences between school and Poland than in the UK it's probably that I'm in third grade in Poland but in England I was in fifth because in England you start school when you're five years old but in Poland you start when you're seven years old and another difference is that Breakfast Club is you can come at half past six and then start your lessons and start your lessons yeah and you can stay in after school club every day from from to from 12 o'clock to five o'clock in England you could stay after school club for one day and I think it was Tuesday and in Poland we go swimming every Tuesday every Tuesday in the year but in England we only went swimming for one week and then that was it is vlogger [Music] foreign [Music] thank you but if this brings you just a little closer to those men who are going into the hottest spots folks yes I've arrived at the place where I told you I would become the osada bura polana it's a cabins for rent in basket mountains I'm going to jump to the Soma in a few moments and I'm I can't wait for tomorrow I will show you the osada from the above yes I brought a drone with me that's the only thing I really brought is my video equipment I hardly brought any clothes but they have a family here so I can rely on that foreign [Music] [Music] folks I've had the first round 15 minutes the sauna has temperature of 80 degrees Celsius and we're supposed to stay three times two times 15 minutes to three times no more than 15 minutes in these conditions I usually do three times sometimes two times see how it goes if I'm feeling good and I'm taking long breaks I should be able to do three rounds today so let me jump for another round and I will see you after all right and folks I just want to tell you how to use the sauna because some of us don't know how to use it so the temperatures shouldn't be more than 80 degrees Celsius and we shouldn't spend more than 15 minutes in the sauna and we can do like three maximum three rounds 15 minute rounds so that's it and remember don't drink alcohol before you use a sauna and you can also eat something quite quite spicy I was in a sauna where they were serving like radish with with some kind of cottage cheese and that was supposed to get even more toxin toxins out of you so yeah remember about this and I'm jumping for another round all right stay with me foreign [Music] thank you [Music] pull up on me [Music] okay let me touch it [Music] folks when we're here I tell you one more thing you've got to relax when you are using a sauna it's it's a must I remember we will make it into a sauna wearing a towel around your waist that's how it should be done yes well I've had a two rounds and I'm going to have a third one soon is you currently produce the oil and the small oil here called cochina you know what it is but I'm going to use it see what it does to me here you go folks and fire blanket very essential I know people who put a some oil on top of that stove and the stuff went on fire the oil had some alcohol don't put anything with alcohol on a sauna stove and have a blanket nearby vlogger zupa folks I call it a day I've had third round I'm going to bed now thanks for watching this one till the end and I hope to see you on the next Vlog and I will be recording from very beginning tomorrow so stay with me and I will see you on the next Vlog till then take care vloggers [Music] [Music] . #sauna #spa #wellness #relax #massage #filmmaking #film #filmmaker #cinematography Meet Tony who as he says spent most of his life on the streets

I met Tony in the High Street in Croydon. He agreed to have an interview with me. I really did not have to ask him questons, he was talking for the whole time.

.

. Vlog in text: Folks we are here with Tony who's been on the Streets of London for how long I've been on the streets on and off pretty much my whole life really I'll be recording now yeah sorry MBA I've had a pretty much chaotic lifestyle since I was a child and I was brought up around addiction um alcoholism I've been brought up around the violence so I've been abused when I was a child I was put into children's home all right let's so let's get back to the beginning your parents were you homeless not right what was your job before you became homeless before you lost your address I'm a senior JavaScript software engineer now I've got mental health he's got mental health so why are we out here so you had an accident yeah a bike accident you were on a bike right yeah from from cocaine from heroin from I don't know my real father I grew up with my stepfather which was my brother's dad and I cast him as my real dad for 12 years because I don't have my real father and my mum was having an affair with somebody that was in Norwich and that's how I was born so you've never met your real dad once or twice in a pub when I was about six years old and when he introduced himself to me he went to give me some money my mum pulled me away and pulled me out of the pub she didn't want me to have anything to do with it anyway because my mum is now dead I have I don't know why so I'll never know why she she was she didn't want me to have any relationship with my father of anything all right but you grew up around addiction did you say I grew up my mom was an alcoholic throughout my whole life she was a functioning alcoholic when I was a child and she did well up until I was about six or seven years old and then she started losing control of her life so therefore she couldn't look after all I've got two other brothers I have an older brother and a younger brother she couldn't look after us after I became about six or seven um my mum used to get seriously like beaten up by her boyfriends and it's really up when they came home from the pub that my mom would get beaten up a lot and I used to witness a lot of violence and like growing up I got put into a children's home I've got a point to repair care care home when I was about seven because I was abused um at this time I had a cannabis addiction I was smoking cigarette smoking cannabis my mum used to smoke so that's how I started smoking it because how old you've been when you started this was about six or seven years old what six or seven years old when you started to smoke cannabis and do you think cannabis affected you somehow or did you get it wasn't so well it was the start it was the start of it was what happened then what what drugs uh is it progressed on to get yes ever so sniffing gas fluid things like that and so it's what we did at that age as children when we were that well when I'm going on to when I was about 10 years old it's what we did at age you know everybody was into it we used to sniff aerosols Gus glues things like that and I've always been a good person I've always had been a conscious person you know just so I've always had that in mind so I've learned not to lose myself so much being out here you know but it's been through so much being through so much experience and so much addiction and all the bad things I've seen in my life it's given me enough knowledge and experience to be StreetWise enough myself to not get taken the Mickey out of our street basically but um one of my biggest problems out here is actually convincing people that I'm actually homeless a lot of people don't believe me of a spice problem I smoke spice at the moment this is my my only issue at the moment and what put me on the street this time I've been up for about two years this time and I'll be honest to you I've served about 14 years of my life because of my addiction drug addiction I've got a very heavy addiction throughout my teenage years on crack cocaine like you are you done with it I'm done with it now I will explain in a minute uh is I started on crack cocaine uh which led on to heroin I was through my teenage years I was totally out of control I was shoplifting I was doing anything to fund my habit I hated myself for it but it was the only way I could survive to keep my addiction going and um we've drawn from hell and it's not very good you feel like you're dying basically it's a really horrible they call it a clap it's it's um something I wouldn't worship on anybody so I had to get break out of it and to be honest it was so hard to get away from the area I stopped doing it I had to take myself away from people that were doing it because it was like influencing me to do it you know so when I was getting like a little bit of clean time I was started mixing with people that were taking it so then I ended up relapsing and going back on it anyway my life's been chaotic throughout my whole I'm 40 years old now my last book chaotic I've done 13 years of my life during prison because of addiction um I stopped like that I made a conscious decision after my mum passed I turned my life around I came out of prison about four years ago with a qualification working in the catering industry and Catering yes I done really well all I walked out how long have you done prison for I've done about 13 years of my life 13 years in prison just roughly what for uh poor funding my drug addiction when it was mainly through my teenage years that's when I was at my worst I was at my Peak on my addiction you're 40 years so I've done three oh you know enough yeah and I'm still alive thankful because I've had so many people that have come from and not come out of it they've died I've had a lot of first people to me that have passed away out here a lot of people seem to think this is a game out it was not a game Risk people's lives yeah and it's trying to convince people that it's people's subconscious people's emotions people's feelings are involved it's a very deep thing you know and then a lot of us have to a lot of us has to block this out because of people take a grip and take it taking advantage of us you know your vulnerability and all that you know you have to hold up a shield I'm sorry I'm a bit all over the place like talking to you so well let's get back well in 13 years in the in prison yeah and when was it the last time you've been in prison I was in prison about three and a half years ago so you've been trying to keep yourself away from prison for the last couple of years I've miraculously turned my life around overnight when that happened to me and my mum passed on my birthday I came out so the recent lasted three years ago three years ago yes I basically came up with a catering in I was qualified I'm a qualified Chef I came up with a good qualification of first yeah and walked into my dream job my life changed overnight it was all happening so quickly and I became [Music] I've worked on it and I came out of prison with a good qualification I've got an mvq level one and two in professional property which makes me a professional chef I then came out of prison and walked into my first job which was the slug and lettuce first legal job I was paying tax I felt so proud of myself when I was doing this because I turned it all around overnight and I stopped talking about this I was trying to go straight my mum died on my birthday after this happened I lost my head I couldn't open a bit I tried to continue working but I was just messing with the holders up I was crossed in the company a lot of money my boss had to let me go in the end because he was aware of my mother's day if he was aware of my background but he gave me a chance because of my potential he ended up sucking a chef he had for six for 12 years and he gave me the position because of my potential is well I was doing really well and then I hope I just fell apart I lost my life mentally I'm a really emotional person it's like I wear my heart and when that happened to me there was so many young art suppressors that I needed to ask my mum about my dad for example so many things I needed to know in my life tell me about your spice addiction yeah because we're basically I've from when I was young I smoked how long you've been smoking spice about about three or four years it's uh it's I've basically changed it from Cannabis test because I just I used to smoke a lot of this and basically people started mixing chemicals in it and it really affected my lungs and I started popping my lungs up and I was having coffee fits because of the Cannabis cannabis yeah because people have been putting like artificial stuff in it yes and there's I had to stop I stopped that overnight and I ended up putting in place despise in place to take away that that footage you know you know that empty space inside you if you quit something it's called avoid it's an empty space inside you that you need to fill with something else and they call it cross-addicting that's what they call it you know when you change one drug for another it's called cross addiction that's what they call it in recovery you know you cross that diction yeah and that's what you had yes I've come up with this space I cross addicted I I went from an addiction of being on cannabis every day I used to smoke three Apes a day that's like 60 pounds worth a day off cannabis it because I am I have so much mental health I suffer with terrible anxiety I used to try it I don't know I suffer badly from depression in my new features you know this and I've got so used to being in this lifestyle as well you know it's what I'm used to is just being around all this is um yeah right on it have you got any phone number that people can contact you and help you would you would you share your phone number now I would just like to say but it's just uh for anybody that is watching this I just want to say please like take into consideration that this is people's feelings and people's lives that are involved in it sometimes people don't portray their feelings as well as what other people do they're not as good as expressing theirselves so if people are trying to explain yourself to somebody on the street because it's not up to make it banked a lot a lot of people walk by and ignore us on the street so if there's anything I can pass on to people just please listen because sometimes just listening to One Thing like there might be one thing that somebody would really want to get out and share with somebody that could save somebody's life you know it's just one thing you know when you feel like everybody's not listening to you and you feel like you don't exist it can put you into a lot of homeless people would and they like to talk they like to be yeah and stomach from experience because of this has happened I've had people killed herself over it because nobody feel like nobody listened I've had people commit suicide over there so it's a very serious thing and then a lot of the community and the public seem to think it's a game and as people judge people there's a lot of judgmental going on uh people thinking um like I said in the beginning of this interview a lot of people I struggle convincing people that I'm actually homeless so because of the way I look because I'm not too clean but it's uh basically it's there's not there's no Persona or any weight a homeless person is in the world it's just because a person's scruffy it's because he might have a serious issue he's got a lot of things going on in his head that's how he's got that way I choose not to let myself get that that badge you know so I'm trying to keep my head above water but it's getting hot which is why I look at that little bit cleaner than most homeless people but a lot of people seem to think that if you're not clean you're not homeless so sometimes I feel when I wake up in the car park or on the back I sleep in a car park around the back but I don't make like 27.50 for a hotel which is importantly I'm not going to say the name of the hotel because if I had to travel because he's supposed to take bankride any exceptions I don't make the money up every day because convincing people to unless a lot of people don't believe on them I struggle badly I have a lot of regular people around here that followed my story for the past two years and that's how I survive out here how much money do you need every day to feed your habit well but you know what I've done so well I've been minimized everything it's my only habit now it's just this place just the spice how much do you need how much money are you able to beg to be if there is I try and back up is the money I beg for is not to support my drugs that's what this is another wrong thing people do people seem to think that the money we're big enough is all for drugs it's absolutely correct it's not true we will get harnessed with the same bus because one person supports their drug habit when they're bigger money from the meals you know we use it for different things I use it for hotel I use it to wash with I use it to work but I also use the left phone ready to keep it in contact with my key worker because my people are housing my key workers just down the road their office he comes to me every day to have a catch up to see if there's any updates on anything or if any place any accommodation that's come up for me because I'm a very private I need my own space so I've had down the hostels because I'm in recovery from class A I don't want to put myself in that we're at risk of putting myself at risk of using again so I've had to refuse hostels because I know hostels and you're absolutely full of people with addictions I don't want to throw myself back in the fire so I've had to refuse hostels and wait until my own place come up and so this is why it's taking a little bit longer for me to get a place you know because I'm to keep my own self safe and free from addiction because I've been recovery from the hard job at the moment I'm having to stay out in the streets because I don't really have a heavily influential influential people in there that can lead you back into using all drugs don't want to do that because I'm doing so well at the moment you know of course and if there is any advice that you could give to people what that would be um things with a pinch of salt well as as a homeless person take things with a Pinter so not to take things so personally and don't hold grudges all right my friend doesn't have a ripple effect there's a lot of issues is there anything else would you like to add to that interview I hope things get better things will get better and I wish all homeless people I hope hey just like I said I struggle every day Within These people I'm actually a real homeless but yeah I know how it feels Grace so just keep strong and keep it back because there's people like this gentleman here that keep my experience happy you've helped me to stay positive and that you know because if it weren't for players like you we wouldn't get noticed we'd just get forgotten about left burn treatment thanks a lot for the interview my friend hope you get better stop the drug addiction and get yourself a place thank you Check my vlog on https://bloggervloggerselektazupa.blogspot.com/ Please subscribe to my channels Meet Pablo - Life on the Streets - London, England

I met Pablo in Soho, the fun district of London. We had to walk for 2 miles to the nearest shop that sells alcohol. Check this out!

all right folks so we are working with Pablo for another about three kilometers 15 minutes to get to an off license that's how far you have to go to go to a shop that sells alcohol if you are around Soho the farm District in London maybe with some training and that's me and Pablo walking the streets of London and you said that you said on other things music and I'd love to remember and what laughter and bunch yeah there you go that's Pablo my favorite homeless person now I hope we will get more of public because he's quite entertaining yeah for nice people as well

depressed

not right what was your job before you became homeless before you lost your address I'm a senior JavaScript software engineer now I've got mental health he's got mental health so why are we out here so you had an accident yeah a bike accident you went on a bike right yeah you know from from cocaine from heroin from cat tablets sorry a Christmas tree turns up from tarantulas in Norway about Northern Lights every Christmas there is a tree from Norway here yeah like a multiple of rainbow water boat trip which unfortunately you can't see because my camera is not focusing well enough anyway let's go to the south side of Thames Pablo where are we now unfortunately

yeah and what is it that in front of us that that will London Eye right all right one of the biggest tourist attractions in London

is it 30 pounds now to go on the island how long does it take to go around

used to be 10 pounds you know when it first started

can you describe that Tower behind you

Big Ben all right let's go to the south of London

thanks guys

Charlie

vlogger super big

so how are you doing Pablo all right jacket all right what you drinking by the way oh I'm drinking a come with me brother what what it's uh

yeah we're belonging

no but listen when you were talking earlier about when she's gone back to Poland you'll get back together but that were true when they were talking to them rather than from Ipswich about many tree in the I did wake up at middle of the field 38 years ago and there were combine harvester there but yeah so we just met some people from Ipswich because you ended up sleeping on the field yeah yeah yeah dive into that combine harvest of that combine harvest yeah 30 a year ago 38 years ago what Harvest was it it would have come back combine harvester yeah and I walked outside the road and it would be run over by it no no no no no it failed let's come out to the pump and got me again the combine harvester came over you know they were there yeah I kept the sound of it Fox so you nearly died

a year ago I know but if that you know when you mentioned new grand I like yeah there's uh weeks running out in it because of that yeah well I were in the field 38 years ago and then once knew I was telling jokes he would just talked to then because I did when you mentioned it so she knew I were on the bike Lending Tree I woke up in the middle of the field there about 38 years ago yeah I was like I know so you've been all over the country what what is your favorite part of the UK I've been all over I've lived in Belgium Island France Spain Denmark I was in a few countries you haven't met nice people live in the UK what is your favorite part of the UK well then we jump to Europe I like going everywhere everywhere

You've Been Everywhere yeah all right what about Europe what's your favorite parts well up like I said I've lived in Amsterdam Belgium I used to live in Saint Nicholas in Belgium it's one District to Belgium despite Flemish now you speak Flemish can you say something oh listen I used to live in Saint Nicholas in Belgium then I go to Central Brussels and then as you go outside the fire door like a tunnel you can resume a bell well as well

so I did I used to live on South the real train station in Paris Central Paris got off at North train station went by uh Walt Louie at train station in 2004. it's from Saint pancreas how much did you pay for a ticket I didn't you didn't you kidding me no I've got on it foreign

a few kilometers installed the thing in a few jams record

yeah did you get some money I broke out into that James Record you know the one oh that God exists from and this young Parisian might come over give me 25 years ago but he said I didn't ask him for hey you just give me 25 years old and then a woman who worked on Metro because it was winter time December 17th 2004 it's normally that day there were Christmas Market people wearing that and uh she said would you like a cup of hot chocolate on natural trouble man what you all right all right so you had a good time yeah what about the homeless people did you mingle among the homeless because you're homeless right there were a lot of people living up my crowds they were clean entirely blankets on top of photograph machines on Metro multiple of rainbow blankets yeah they were giving blankets to people on top of the photograph machines on metro in Paris they were clean blankets clean blankets for homeless people we reckon they get better caring like because I've never seen blankets here in that way but I know the handouts apparently the best in Europe that was in 2004 December 17 2004 yeah how long did you spend there oh a couple of way about six week and then I went up to Amsterdam uh Euro lines was again no ticket not bad for this one

thank you for like 50 euros to Amsterdam and that was Amsterdam it was all right I went back to pay respects because the lady had passed away with cancer so I went back to home to where a person respects our new Royal lines bus from Paris after I got our eurostaria from Waterloo it's from Saint pancreas Jones as you know you went back to London in 2004 you could get on the Euro staff from Waterloo train station it's from Saint pancreas now yeah all right that was additional station I went that way I'd go back to Auckland to pay some respect somebody who died of cancer

in 2004. I've not been back for 15 years you know what I mean 1990 to write my friend and what would you say to people who are thinking about like ending up on streets the streets

and uh would you give them an advice I mean is it easy to live on the streets you know like everyone about hungry enough I knew Hungarian I grew up in Edinburgh Edinburgh yeah in Scotland yeah wherever the train station is the train station well they were going to throw himself off the bridge because it's a bit of a suicide spot what so I thought tonight of it or a woman yeah the bridge I know I've seen a lot of like uh stickers on that bridge saying uh Samaritans call Samaritans before you jump I mean we always here to talk to anybody who's thinking about anything like that but what happened to you in Edinburgh can you I haven't just lived in Edinburgh I've lived in Glasgow Aberdeen

all over oh my God you're very active person I have to say yeah I'd always give people but there is some why evil like that uh Fred West and I'll walk [ __ ] he thought ten crumbled straight with that I took them to conditional that was my own's he died at Winston Greenman crab West and that polish girl the cold Kirk's church is in Scotland Carrick hi and why were that tall been bastard who killed that polish girl and put her on the floorboard she's not dead and [ __ ] dead Polish Girl yeah girl the boys corbyn from buff gate why did he do it because you're an evil bastard the evil bastards they went up in the northern killer a Polish Bird yeah

when was that usual years ago

did you hear about the the family suicide the four Polish people the family but I think the father killed the mother and the children for Polish people died in Northern London recently Dusty people who are all Michael what's happening why things are not the same they used to be Pablo because times have changed bro I mean 1970s okay right here what schools in Baltimore in Sri Lanka was called so long on the atlas because that's why we were cold today Rhodesia yes yeah it's not because of that it would call that on the atlas

in 70s would you like it to be still called Rhodesia I'd like it to be like it were in 1970s 60s enough kinds of change bro what do you think about the brexit as I've asked you that already didn't I but yeah maybe now you can dive into the subject well I I don't think too much about it I was like you're all star in 2004 for more to remember yeah

in Paris there in central Paris I will live a lot better what would you do now if you want to go to France are you would you just jump on a train again

um well I didn't think they didn't before but times have changed bro

I was at Heathrow the other day and just in the few wine bottles were people traveling you know family people no they don't wonder and my friend and you know you know that San Martin's connections yeah do you use them I have done about a shower there in that yeah yeah they're very good aren't they oh yeah so you you do use San Martin's connections at times and times for a showering for a shower what else can you get there we can get something breakfast

[Music] American Church yeah and every second Monday they give you clothes and not but that's nothing to do with San Martin's no I know the what I'm trying to say it is they give clothes and I yeah you can get clothes in them every second I sometimes go to charity shops if I've got some money I'll buy a second annotation was being washed and cleaned because I always have to be brand new I'm just checking where's the mic yeah you look at the mic it's fine

[Music] yeah like I said bro miles and kilometers and which is the sound of good health but uh like uh it can catch up you know because when you're in your Prime you're in your 20s say 25 27 that's when you're in the primary life I'm very fortunate to be able to like still do uh 28 mile a day which is more sometimes to do about 15 now and a few kilometers walking or yeah walking you every day so you do walk a lot publicly keeping yourself in a good shape what do you eat during a day most sometimes they eat fruits and sometimes I eat a little bit of something but drink drinking I started smoking again last year alone cigarettes is there like cigarettes you pick up on the on the floor yeah but I'm immune I've had that many well I had kale surgery on that no years ago on this in 2006. I had a Grade Three dislocation during the atlanticle I smashed my head open there I got a blood clot on my lungs you can die from them but this was about 10 or 12 years ago or you can get a Blue Claw in your arm I could call the pulmonary embolism without 10 or 12 years ago how are you feeling now I'm feeling uh all right how did you smash your head because I can see the scars yeah I know a little bit of it but that's when I got the blood clot it belongs upon the embolism can die from them so I used to live better than a cute one you know next to Matt Milton but this were about 10 or 12 years ago I'm out and about Fred Weston Pokemon

Andrea has fits and Parkinson's - she lives in a hospice - Life on the Streets - London, England

Andrea is from Peckham in London. Her parents came to the UK from Barbados. Despite having fits and Parkinson's disease she lives on the streets.

folks we are here with Andrea we are in Brixton and how long you've been on the streets Andrea I've been over more than 10 years more than 10 years yeah and what triggered your homelessness letting people anymore it's um relatively crazy about not being fit for having a flat a permanent about really um basically I uh people thought that our old as young

but actually I'm very focused and fits information in my life I needed to get out get out of the streets get out on the streets and and project myself yes 10 years ago you you ended up on the streets where are you from what made you homeless got right what was your job before you became homeless before you lost your address I'm a senior JavaScript software engineer now I've got mental well B's got mental health so accident

bike accident you were on a bike Yeah Yeah from from cocaine from heroin from cut tablets racism oh I wouldn't pick it I was going to

all right

all right I said I grew up I grew up on some in the summers in Pittston oh you brought up in yeah summers in Brixton all right Andrea well tell us tell us about your childhood how was your where your parents came Amnesia and dementia and uh my Parkinson's and stuff are quite a little social you've got it I got a social I'm linked to abuse and stuff I know okay I got this I have to get it you've got dementia yeah I have to get in Parkinson apocalypse

you said something but the drug up is what drugs

I believe that people with these smoke drug and take drink it's not um due to um Associated people gravitate to each other but after a detailed a point about your childhood the child drama traumas and travel and I listened at um Pickering

yeah all right well so let's get get back to your childhood so you grew up in a in a proper family mother and father um siblings [Laughter] that domestic violence really um not competition um mainly of um this arguments over like a little bit of the children you know their current state of their minds and how they can progress in society it's best excellent suggestion and yeah

space education tendencies yeah in brics and where do you sleep do you sleep around is that your place where you stay for a night

I see I'm staying at National hospace in 2010

I picked up because I'll grab protection it's got a lot of memories to me a lot of memories and uh yeah he's got a good memories I I can't link myself with pickle and Brixton to start with Southeast

um I kind of like um look I've had a big city because it's not sociable it's not sociable but especially more people it's more um correspondency get more opinions in Brixton or opinions you get more opinions but it's more opinions about how much opinions about I should be how I should be how I should be like your opinions about life itself and really I find something in my life right now I need to have feelings about my life character I should be but I'll show um depending about how my life life is how I I affect the community how I represent the community and how um my life is in the community to this state and State yeah yeah what's happening in in Brixton today territorial support group they're changing directions

aggregational situations in in Safi right now due to the Poland situation and due to the um non-correspondence of people right a lack of Education it happens right now yeah education and how through that group of people that we listen to these are the small things of life like put the housing

it's good in life yeah all right Andrea okay well so you sleep in a hospital that was like how are you finding the hospice

um I'll find it um lonely I think it's the people I find it um call me that Prince I do find it quite um restrictive restrictive yeah what time is it like it's a certain time you have to get back by a certain time that's how I'm only like three days at a time but I found um that um I don't mind saying that point I find it I find it right away um incarcational that father um I I just called cult but I didn't have to cope properly I got bitterness but I got the code about

my long time accommodation do I have to move I thought I'd be moving too much I like stability I like um familiarity if it makes sense

you're homeless so it's not really bad enough and you know what I mean you're homeless you could go it's still it's so pandemic today for pneumonia um and perceiving and stuff you know see people people get raped with supervision maybe I can get raped in my mind

to live a better life on the streets

all right so well is there any way that people can contact you well that's not fun I I believe um they had to telephone your whole body is a communicational portal of BT yeah yeah so you have no fun right now have you got have you got any email or anything like that oh what fun guess what I'm saying but um

I had to add the email I had the email before yeah

but you don't have one now um I've got one back over 28. well I just actually remember oh I did that [ __ ] map oh Hotmail wow all right so that's no use what about social medias Facebook nothing like that I had Facebook before I I just have Facebook um

I got Facebook I Facebook I had them tutor as well oh I hope that would be the password

you mentioned that your parents came from Barbados yeah so you must be a big fan of soccer I was talking about that Gary I I have um Urban Music Urban Legend music Urban Music right yes can you mention a few names um grinder spiral um swept us um yeah so I don't actually have grinder yeah

the hardest Cruise garage um

okay Russia also um and then it's a sky with it's gross is good but I thought it was a bit rough so yeah I feel like I'm the lead to a sub places of the circles to the top plates but it's good though it's good it's been doing this how they mixed it I enjoyed the CD that I enjoyed it yeah all right cool what other music do you like um so

travel travel house

yeah I mean have you have you have done a relationship and what happened to your um and um because you're not really that I'm pretty excited to work don't nothing give me growth you don't give you other aspects of actually I'm handing myself as a woman I I tried to think that I'll do it for a man wait for I should do it work for a man

um I find that the relationships is give and take it's not that I give more than I take I get more than I take you know I give more to them I take I take more back so that was a real balanced you take more back as I say it's no it's not a bad information yeah I don't have Spanish relationships no all right when was your last relationship um I don't have it I meet people linkages

what's that if you meet someone you say hi talk to them three weeks a year two years that's like a state relationship is it yeah establish is called this class at five ten years it's a relationship you know mentoring stuff you know yeah so you have no family whatsoever our family about quite Disney close you know I was at a close family because um

this moments really people are back to um buses talk about your um coinciding that investment of yourself

all right and you're living on the streets you see what's up you see all sorts of crime here what's happening on the streets of Brixton those days and we saw the police is a safe place

I've done this community based anymore

as well teenagers Rebecca was younger children at points um

yeah and what in your well-being and human beings well well-being well-being

the community now is more orientated in well-being well I I don't really think about children I just see more Secondary School not more like um but I understand

academies but um there's less crime though this crime too this is your children crime and there's actually um no more drug taking it's both so so it's more sociable people are more sociable those these days yeah right right there we don't know if you have friends I'll be catalog of friendships but it's gonna maintaining friendships maintaining hope help all right and is there is a message and advice to the society from your point of view what that would be um keep up keep love keep pains but I always have a cable always have about them don't get violent always moan about it first everything you can pass something towards that um talks on first about it if you know if you can help you yeah because your point is you know I mean if you stay focused and not having violence and problems and strife you know those are the way I say at least they just take them nobody Let's Go corporate it's got corporate Banking and um it'll be better if they have everything to do to money no airplanes it's got corporate Banking and it'll be better for you you know banking would be better for me than what yeah

don't go I don't know um the voting the voting the um

yeah it's more multimedia right now anyway that's good do you vote for do you vote for any particular party umatives

Green Party

yeah right so you you this is the best for homeless people is the green parties that they offer them I find they they have that um to be more sociable yes um yes neighbors neighbors are simple forward action but actually um they leave her knee probably fell out of before that in is that basically um they have the last few months among Montgomery utilities Memento and as I said the conservatives are also politics how you fit your target groups how do you feel about you see a good prime minister um

the task is good yeah it's a good you like if you think that's a good job that's good yeah what do you think about brexit Andrea um sorry

I still have a reform civil reform especially reform what's that civil reform

rights movement of a census so you you weren't against brexit or for brexit um I was I was biased really because really if you want to help me if you can't help me in my everyday life that you maintain more cognitive mental about to fix it what's the point say I will talk about no brexit you're a President helped me every day you know every day

to myself I'll break it positive it was a good thing sometimes I cannot make up what you're saying more positive about our Network yeah is there anything else would you like to say this is okay thank you there thank you today thank you

somehow about my life articulate myself better enough but I tried to get my best well I wish you all the best and thank you I hope not to see you on the streets again if I see you if I hope you will be in a in a better State thank you.

Here we go for Jesse's back the face of the the face of the the series is buggy only appeared in the first episode and now you're going away for a little while to go away do a little bit of time in prison for something stupid but now I'm back and I hope all of you took what I said the first time and what made you homeless not right what was your job before you became homeless before you lost your address I'm a senior JavaScript software engineer now I've got mental health he's got mental

accident yeah a bike accident you were on a bike Yeah Yeah from from cocaine from heroin from cat tablets come back and I hope all of you took what I said the first time and and took it heed on it and tried to help out as much as you could you know as my money is trying to help out so six months in in jail how was it in London or where did you go no I was in belmarsh is that harsh yeah very harsh a cat very harsh yes

yes sorry the shot in me Chanel

I've got him sorry about that sorry about that it's just that's the XY coming up stop shouting Chanel I'm doing an interview stop shouting I'm doing an interview yes

gone yes it's just a reaction of something what just happened out here on the roads I've got a miracle don't worry he's here

[Applause] need to talk see we could talk

oh don't worry about it's all in the past here it's all in the past

do you want to join the interview with Jesse there was nothing I could do about it it was honestly nothing I could do about it what happened out there that was this madness with this homeless what happens the police just turn up arrest him because for something that I don't know what he's been arrested for yeah it's something like that and he throws something up in the air and it all bats all up what are you talking about uh just some some guy yeah yeah it's gone he's gone somebody was arrested yeah all right but let's let's get back to your story so six months and you're out now you gain some weight that you don't recognize how many stones did you get about five five Stones yeah it's a good food in the 15 and a half Stone now all right trying in it I'm trying I don't want to come back out and fall back into the same old struggles I was your addiction when you get in no they saw at your addiction they still wear your methodontist it's

do that for me so that's all good and now it's just a comeback and that's why I've been over where I live now just trying to stay away from it or look the first day back into town it all kicks off again but I'm trying in it I'm just trying and hopefully because I know a lot of the guys are falling apart since I've been away like mental health issues so now I'm back hopefully I'll be able to help some of them out and get them back on the right track again so you're keeping it away from drugs of course of course of course I have to yeah I have to recognize about staying out of prison I don't want to go back into prison again I need to stay out and that's that means staying away from everything staying away from people you care about even you're after at times what are you gonna do all right so what actually happened that you ended up in prison I just I'm gonna either fight with someone just assaulted them and I ended up in prison for that they give me a year [Music]

so let's get back to the the begins you grew up in Croydon you said last no I grew up in Brixton yeah but I'll come to Croydon to change my life and to help and that's what I've been trying to do to just help was it a better change for you so yeah yeah of course of course why Brixton was this is where I'm now in my my reputation is a bit uncanny people know my reputation in Brixton so it's not good for me to have that reputation anymore try to let go of all the violence and all that and become a good person good loving person as you know and you're married you married your wife yeah now you're not married but you're still friends I don't know if I'm friends he just terrorizes me whenever she sees me yeah she's my best friend She'll always be my best friend that will never change now what happens between us we'll always be friends because she knows and I know only certain people care about your certain way in your life and that's the way you want to be cared for but sometimes you mess up and you do things that are at your control and it's life it's what we are we're human beings and so we behave this is a pan wow we're back at where we started hopefully so what was your routine sort of going back to jail or did you have an occupation there already just yeah I was an auxiliary nurse I just tried I was a nurse you were a nurse in jail yeah no not in jail I didn't do nothing in there I just sat down in there all right there was no my nose sometimes they give you a job don't they yeah but I didn't get a job I don't like working in prison I don't like doing all that I just stayed in my cell and just chilled okay spread the word you have a teller in yourself yeah they have all of that in their TVs and everything and every order many channels yeah well 50 channels I don't want to tell you I'll read books yeah we read books for the library and you you read books that we just read books it's more education how many books you manage to read oh quite a lot of books about 20 books yeah in a little six months or five months about 20 books I've read a lot of books how many of us about 20 20 books and what the can you can you mention some pieces brother I need help for report huh because I always ask homeless people what they read because they actually are they worried I read like Jackie Collins things like that uh Dean Koontz I really do a different sort of stuff was that easy access to the library not really not in belmarsh not in belmarsh right was it I was in the a capital facility oh okay I'm I'm meth or four so I get treated like an acre like out here I've got to jump through hoops to stay at were you allowed only to have so many books at time or yeah four books four books four books a time and unlimited you could have that life no you have to take them back read them and take them back how often do you can you go to them once a week four weeks

try help out the homeless people you know we all got their problems they've got the things they're going through but try and help them out because what you're going to find out is a lot of homeless people are good people you know they're very good people they just need a little chance give them a chance and I'm sure they will show you will shock you you know that's all I can't really say are you homeless now no I'm not I'm in a Belvedere I'm in a hospital in Belvedere I'm in the Battle of hostel yeah after being a bail off store for a little while how is that it's okay jumping through hoops means I stay out though so it's better than being in prison and I mean they didn't be any job

well it's good to see you as an actress on the street yeah well nice to see you as well my brother and if you do come back again I'm sure I'll be around again yeah well I hope you once show me the bad side no no no that's all behind me that's all in the past yeah stay on a good path my friends God bless you thank you God bless
