.For these who don't know what Brexit means, here is explanation: .Brexit (/ˈbrɛksɪt, ˈbrɛɡzɪt/;[1] a portmanteau of "British exit") was the withdrawal of the United Kingdom (UK) from the European Union (EU) at 23:00 GMT on 31 January 2020 (00:00 CET).[note 1] The UK is the first and so far only member state to have left the EU, after 47 years of having been a part of the union — the EU and its predecessor the European Communities (EC), which included the European Economic Community — since 1 January 1973.[note 2] Following Brexit, EU law and the Court of Justice of the European Union no longer had primacy over British laws, except in select areas in relation to Northern Ireland. The European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 retains relevant EU law as domestic law, which the UK can now amend or repeal. Under the terms of the Brexit withdrawal agreement, Northern Ireland continues to participate in the European Single Market in relation to goods, and to be a de facto member of the EU Customs Union. Here is the vlog in text: the comments about brexit under my last vlog uh they were like have a look yourself you know what i mean so i've decided to make another episode about brexit today yeah let's ask the public what they think about brexit brexit has that affected you somehow we're here at legal no you see this is this is how it affected you no no no no no no no we're not here legally we're we're allowed to be here you have not been affected by brexit you still you know what's your input about brexit i think uk will suffer because they come out of the block obviously no actually no i'm not going to do this right now i know a lot but no that's what people think about brexit and things like that well you know they don't think too much about it you know to be quite honest with you do they obviously uh it's a shame that we're out of europe from my point of view but we seem to be flourishing without europe so i think that looks pretty good we haven't got this don't seem to have the polish lads and nasties come over to the uk to work like they used to obviously they must be finding it very good in poland obviously uh to to earn money so it's a shame because they were good lads and lassies etc but we don't seem to see them so much of them in the uk are you busy i am busy i've got an appointment in about half an hour so you don't want to just answer me about brexit you know what do you think about brexit no worries are you busy thank you very busy are you how are you doing today are you busy yeah running to work sorry all right no worries the big man says how's brexit affecting my life it's made it worse made it the worst yesterday yeah how well because i like foreign people and i thank you and i don't get a mix with them anymore oh there's plenty of us around you know yeah but we're mixing now yeah we're mixing now where we live because we come from down halfway down the country on the northeast there's not too many northeast the north east right of england there's not so many europeans no you don't hear the accent much anymore the place big number you're my paper we don't say yes what's your thoughts about brexit on brexit no yes has that affected you somehow no really you know not really we're only aware for lunch and we've got enjoy your day thank you my friend one question you know you being from philippines you know you have like you know you're from uh another continent what are your thoughts about brexit um oh brexit i don't know i don't want to comment about it you've got perfect english thank you thank you but um no uh if it was up to me i don't think it should have happened brexit yeah yeah i think it just makes it difficult for everybody everywhere you go in the uk you get polish community you know here will be like at least a hundred of us yeah the only two we've met . #uk #london #borisjohnson #eu #politics
